Museè Rodin and Hotel des Invalides
Rain fell of The Poet/Thinker, and Rodins bold strokes were etched in black. the beauty of "the kiss" and the enigmatic Fish Face, the silky sheen of a hundred wonderful sculptures left me quite dumbfounded. So much talent, so much passion. Camille Claudels diffident fame, but brilliant artistry, came through. The lover, yes, but with a strong chisel in hand.

Invalides built in 1670 for homeless, wounded soldiers is still that, but now more famous for Napoleons 7 layered coffin, the solid sarcophagus of Karelian (note that!) red granite encasing them.
